Doyle L. Hoyer Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 6, 2022, at the age of 86, Doyle L. Hoyer of Fort Madison, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Hoyer and Viola Hoyer (Grossenkemper); his wife Bertha "Bert" Bremhorst Hoyer; his sister Connie Hoyer Barnes (Hoyer); his siblings-in-law, Bernard Bremhorst, David Bremhorst and Sandra Bremhorst; and his brothers, Jim Baier and Leo Perry.

He is survived by: his siblings, Fort and Under; his friends, Bob Spiegel, Tom Spiegel and John Spiegel; his close friend Kay McGushin; his children, Gary Hoyer (Lynn), Jeanne Hoyer Deery (Brad), Jan Hoyer Randolph (Brad), Dominique Deery Jones (Brad), Bridget Deery (Matt DiVerde), Katherine Colby Hoyer, Hannah Grace Deery, Caroline "Carly" Hoyer (Michael Vaiarella), Alyse "Ali" Randolph, Eve Elyse Hoyer Deery, Kassidy Randolph, Gabriella Deery and Natalie Randolph; his grandchildren, Kelli McGushin Civello (Ray), Kevin McGushin, Floria Tosca Kerekes, Tatum McGushin and Corrado McGushin Civello; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Barnes, Bernadette Bremhorst Flesher (Bud), Janice Bremhorst and Linda Bremhorst. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
