She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse Theodore Brooks; her parents, Dwight Dawson and Bertha Dawson; her siblings, Chester, Edith, Marceine and Nellie; her grandson William Thomas Wilson III; and her sons-in-law, William Thomas Wilson, Jr. and Garry Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Ted Brooks of Fort Madison, Iowa, Rosann Nelson (Richard) of Fort Madison, Iowa and Estine Wilson of Goldsboro; and her siblings, Leo Dawson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Vivian Smith (Bill) of St. Charles, Missouri. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandson, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
