He is survived by: his wife Dianna Mincks of Fort Madison; his sons, Fred Jr. Mincks (Teri) of Geneseo and Nicholas Mincks of Albertville, Minnesota; his stepson Nathan Hillyer of Fort Madison; his brother Dennis LaRue (Marsha) of Davenport, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Justin, Kyle, Ryker Mincks, Layne Hillyer and Aurora Mincks. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Barr Memorial Chapel (1919 Ave F, Fort Madison, IA 52627).
