She was predeceased by: her father Desiderio "Lelo" Prado; her son Keith Allen Thompson; and her brother Art Prado. She is survived by: her mother Lucy Salazar Prado of Ft. Madison; her husband Darryl Thompson of Ft. Madison; her sisters, Angelita Prado of Ft Madison and Juanita Kirby of Burlington; her grandchildren, Izzy, Gage and Aubree Hind; Marcy Hind. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
