He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy G. Eaves and Florence Lucibelle Eaves (Peeler); his wife Nancy Hill; his siblings, Mike, Vernon, Lester, Pat, Jack, Bill Eaves, Linda Nuendorff, Betty Scott, Ruby Pickard and Helen Bowlyou; and his great grandchild Lexie Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Eaves (Audra) of Fort Madison, Sherry Martin of Montrose, Sheila Smith (Michael) of Revere and Dianna Eaves of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Michael Smith (Sara), Athena Duncan (Brandon), Ben Smith (Bambi), J. R. Smith (Nora), Joe Martin (Christy), Jennifer Knox (Travis), Tyler Martin (Michelle), Lora Conley (Ed), Colton Eaves, Kristyn Eaves, Katie Ceirs (John), Tom Clark (Sabrina) and Bill Clark; and his siblings, Guy Eaves of Fountain Green, Richard Eaves of Fort Madison and Imogene Hodges. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
