It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Walljasper of Fort Madison, Iowa, who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Walljasper and Caroline Schmidt Walljasper; her siblings, Jim Walljasper (Terry), Paul Walljasper (Doris), Frank Walljasper (Ruth), Tom Walljasper (Carol), Jean Saad (George), Martha Murphy (Richard) and Mary Ann; her nephews, Jay Walljasper and Steve Saad; her niece Trudy Maas; her great-nephew Thomas Walljasper; and her great-niece Erica Maas. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
