Hoffmeister of Fort Madison, Iowa, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kurt Hoffmeister and Betty Feist Hoffmeister; and his brother Bill (Sue) of Mount Pleasant, IA.. He is survived by: his wife Jean Hoffmeister of Fort Madison, IA; his children, Kurt Hoffmeister (Ellen) of Marshalltown, IA, Trueman Hoffmeister (Wendy) of Manitowish Waters, WI and Joy Pankow (Bruce) of Farmington, MN; and his siblings, Robert Hoffmeister (Marsha) of The Woodlands, TX and Wilma Nielsen (Phil). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be donated in Ken's name to the Fort Madison First Christian Church or the Lake Cooper Angling Association or may be sent to Jean Hoffmeister at 2210 Avenue H # 420, Fort Madison, IA 52627.
