She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Kirchner and Virgie Derr Kirchner; her husband Walter "Bud"; her brothers, Wilbert, Elmer and John Kirchner; and her son-in-law George Cale.

She is survived by: her daughter Julie Cale of Burlington, IA; her granddaughter Shelly Paul (Jeff) of Ft. Myers, FL; her great grandchild Beau Szczerbinski; and her sister Vera Baxter (Robert) of Highland, IN. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
