We are sad to announce that, on November 1, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Lindy Roberts of Fort Madison, Iowa, born in Burlington, Iowa. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Lindy Roberts to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon L Roberts and Ruth Maxine Roberts (Shanks); his aunt Glen (Joan Roberts); and his brothers-in-law, Howard Snider and Stanley Heald.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy of Fort Madison; his daughters, Rachel Roberts of Rochester and Sarah Roberts (Micah Bell) of Tyler, Texas; his sister Cindy Heald of Ellenton, Florida; and his cousin Jeff Roberts of Lomax, Illinois.

A memorial has been established for a memorial shoot at Black Oak Sporting Clays at Pella, Iowa, contributions may be made to his family and left during his services or mailed to Barr Memorial Chapel, 1919 Ave F, Fort Madison, Iowa 52627.

“Sorry to hear about Lindy. I met him back in the early 90's at a Sporting Clays Shoot. He was a tough competitor and an excellent shot with a shotgun. Always enjoyed his stories from his job and his shooting adventures. He always had time to visit and he could pick up right where we left off the previous year. He loved the shooting sports and would always give advice and support to his fellow shooters. He will be remembered as a gentleman of Sporting Clays that could compete with the best.”
