She was predeceased by: her parents, James D. "JD" Kent and Anna Elizabeth Kent (Teeple); and her husband Charles L. Posz. She is survived by: her children, Anne Maclure (David) of San Antonio and Jim Posz (Betty) of Fort Madison, Iowa; her grandsons, Ian Maclure (Mia-Carla), Allen Posz (Marsha), David Posz (Darcie) and Ty Maclure (Kristy); and her great grandchildren, Kyler, Kayden, Lilly-Anne, Brooklyn and Abigail. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fort Madison United Methodist Church (510 9th St, Fort Madison, IA 52627). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established for the Fort Madison United Methodist Church, Lee County Hospice, and P.A.W., contributions may be made at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison.
