She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd C. Dodson and Dorothy M. Logan Dodson; her close friend Thomas Gilman Jr.; her son Dale; her parents-in-law, Thomas Gilman Sr., Virginia Gilman and Josephine Gilman; her sisters, Viola Ramsey and Wanda Dodson (Infant); and her siblings-in-law, Steve Gilman, Dale Fullhart, Patricia Poggemiller, Linda Walter and Palmyra Dodson.
She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Gilman Jr.; her children, Scott Gilman of Fort Madison and Denni Nye (Tony) of Burlington; her siblings, Lloyd "Sonny" Dodson of Fort Madison, Donald Dodson of Keokuk, Iowa. and Alberta Fullhart of Fort Madison, Iowa.; her brothers-in-law, Keith Gilman (Barb) of Fort Madison, Dan Gilman (Cindy) of Robertsville and Frank Leininger (Melony) of Donnellson, Iowa.; and her daughters, Tina Beerbower of Des Moines, Debra Eastman of Montrose and Jenifer Harred of Fort Madison, Iowa.. She is also survived by her eleven Grandchildren and twenty three Great Grandchildren.
