With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Barnett of Fort Madison, Iowa, born in Unionville, Missouri, who passed away on February 27, 2024 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Barnett to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Jones and Mary Lavonne Jones (Anders); her daughter Cindy Funk (Hop); and her close friend Jim Brockman. She is survived by : her daughter Barbara Janssen of Atlanta, Georgia; her siblings, Raymond Junior Jones (Shirley) of Oakland, Tennessee, Emeline Allen (Paul) of Kahoka, Missouri, Angeline Lindsey of Jacksonville and Betty McWhorter (Ken) of Fort Madison; her grandchildren, Heather (Tom), Todd, Dustin and Rose; her great grandchildren, James, William, Wade, Adia, Ashten, Forrest and Penelope; and her adoptive daughter Tracy Krebill. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the First Baptist Church, Youth Church Camp, contributions may be made at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison.
