With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Neva Briggs of Fort Madison, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Neva left this world on May 30, 2025 at the age of 98, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As we bid adieu to Neva's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Neva has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil R. Smith and Della M. Smith (Blake); and her siblings, Russell Smith and Mary Margaret Farringer. She is survived by: her sister Gwendolyn Groves of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is also survived by two nephews and three nieces.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
