We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2025, at the age of 91, Richard W. Coursey of Fort Madison, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Faye "Bud" and Irma Grace Coursey (Hendrix); his wife Betty Ann Burnett; his sons, Patrick Eric Coursey and Jeffery Allen Coursey; and his siblings, Larry Thomas Coursey and JoAnne Coursey Presson.
He is survived by: his children, Steven P. Coursey (Brenda) of Monmouth, Timothy R. Coursey of Burlington, IA and Jolinda K. Coursey of Ft. Madison, IA; his grandchildren, Steve W. Coursey, Kenneth R. Coursey, Andrew R. Coursey, Scott Coursey, Betty Ann Zufall and Zachary Coursey; his sister Gloria Coursey Barr of Macomb, IL; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Springsteen Coursey of Burlington; and his sister-in-law Charlotte R. Coursey of Burlington. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association and sent to the funeral home.
