She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Black and Shirley Pohlpeter Black; her brother John Black; and her father-in-law Ronald Hines, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Ron Hines of Ft. Madison; her daughters, Jennifer Mehmert (David Baker) of Burlington, Debbie McDowell (Korderrick Jefferson, Sr), Staci McDowell of Ft. Madison and Melody Hines-Balvanz (Ethan) of Iowa City; her sister Sharon Scoggins (Tim) of Mt. View, MO; her mother-in-law Sharon Hines of Donnellson; and her close friends, Chanda Vincent and Faylea Augsburger. She is also survived by eight grandkids.
