She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Smith and Fernette Smith (Stewart); and her brother-in-law Billy Franklin Lucas. She is survived by: her husband Don; her adoptive daughter Myrissa Meyer (Jamie) of Fort Madison; her sisters, Susan Boston (Jon) of Marshalltown, Sally Caron (Henry) of Wisconsin and Sherrie Smith of Kansas; and her pets, Annie Myrissa, Sammy and Dixie. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Skye are suggested to the family.
