William Mullan Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Mullan of Fort Madison, Iowa, born in Aberdeen, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl and Leedice Marian Mullan (Olds); his wife Frances L. Smith; and his son David. He is survived by: his children, William S. Mullan (Shannon) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Jeri Mullan-Lee (Davey Lee) of St. Paul and Lynn Mullan-Marek of Fort Madison; his grandchildren, Megan Mullan, Sharmiki, Hannah, Jenna Mullan and Jack Marek; his stepchildren, Gregory Luegering (Barb) of Katy, Texas, Susan Nutgrass (Bob) of Indianola and Julia Russell (Duane) of Nebraska City, Nebraska; and his caregivers, Gloria Alvarez-Sharpman and Juan Alvarez.

A memorial has been established for Three Rivers Conservation Foundation and the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice.
