He is survived by: his wife Connie Benter of Fredericksburg, IA; his children, Jeanie Porath (Heath) of Sumner, IA, Nick Rieck (Shannan) of Humboldt, IA, Natalie Rempel (Tristan) of Kalona, IA, Kelly Moeller (Adam) of Cedar Falls, IA and Ben Benter (Desiree) of Fredericksburg, IA; and his siblings, Larry Benter (Judy) of Sauk City, WI, Diane Franks (George) of Ames, IA, Eileen Fritz (Paul) of Oelwein, IA and Marcia Hillman (Joy Sievers) of Traer, IA.. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren.
