He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Wharton of Fremont; his children, Ron Jr. and Lynn; his stepson David McAdoo; and his brothers, Roy Wharton (Linda) of Oskaloosa, Butch Wharton (Judy) of Oskaloosa, Justin McAdoo and Ron.
