She was predeceased by: her father Fred Wilson Jr.; her husband Mark L. Van Auken; her mother Jeanette Catherine Wilson, Jr. (Wells); her in-laws, Howard and Fern Van Auken; and her brothers, Burton Van Auken, Charles Van Auken, Billy Van Auken (Betty Jo), James Van Auken (Betty R.) and Paul Powers (Edna Mae).

She is survived by: her sons, Jonathan Mark and Jason Michael Van Auken; her grandchildren, Annabelle Barbara (Jacob), Braedyn Matthew Van Auken and Caden Kahl; her siblings, Fred Wilson, III (Pat) of Arizonia and Cathy Stelzner (Craig) of Missouri; her uncle Richard Wells of Burlington; her aunt Marge Cline (Lee) of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; her sisters-in-law, Pat, Fredricka of Iowa, Patty and Elizabeth of Washington State; and her close friends, Carolyn, Cindy, Sheri, Becky and Joan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
