He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hill and Jeanne Cook Hill; his sister Dana Hill; his father-in-law Lyle Dahnke; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Fuller and Tim Brase.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Dahnke; his son Adam (Kristi) of Des Moines; his granddaughter Morgan; his sisters, Colleen Betz (Lanny) of Florida and Valerie (Doug) of Golden, Colorado; his mother-in-law JoAnn Dahnke of Muscatine; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Marks of Muscatine, Tina Vastine (Joe) of Waukon, Sam Dahnke (Sheri) of Muscatine and Jeff Dahnke (Brenda) of Muscatine. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in his honor to the Muscatine Humane Shelter or It Takes a Village Animal Rescue.
