He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Henning and Edna Henning; his brother Gary Henning; and his parents-in-law, Vern and Ruth Curry.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Curry; his children, Mark Henning (Angie) and Cindy Dornbush (Bob); his grandchildren, Cole Henning and Lexi Henning; his stepgrandsons, Jason Dornbush, Justin Dornbush and Jacob Dornbush (Kelsie); his brothers-in-law, Steve Curry (Laura), Sam Curry (Mary) and Scott Curry (Cathy); and his niece Melanie Newman. He is also survived by five step great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Fruitland Community Center (104 Sand Run Rd, Fruitland, IA 52749).
