He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Jane Horstman; his parents, Hayden Davies and Lois Davies (Treeby); his brother Walter Davies (Judy); his siblings-in-law, Suzanne Davies and Ivan Hardt; his niece Monica Muntz; his in-laws, Martin and Ellen Horstman; his siblings-in-law, James Horstman, Ramona Bahls (Sylvin) and Martin Jr. Horstman (Charlene); his niece Cynthia Horstman; and his nephew Lee Horstman.
He is survived by: his daughter Stacy (Cody Schroeder); his grandchildren, Trevor, Cayden and Alexis; his siblings, Hayden "Ralph" Davies, Doris Hardt, Maryls Kayser (Richard), Susie Sylvester (Owen) and Cheryl Scott (Dale); and his friend Mary. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many family members and friends.
The inurnment was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (31478 Osterdock Rd, Guttenberg, IA 52052). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the St. John's Church (701 Zapf St, Garber, IA 52048).
