He is survived by: his daughters, Becky Reed and Brenda Onstot (Craig); his grandchildren, Adam, Niccolas, Jerad, Ashley, Brandon, Dustin, Kevin, Kyle, Spencer, Allison and Mallorie; and his brothers, Larry and Richard. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.
He was also inducted into the Prairie Meadows Hall of Fame in which not only is an accomplishment but an honor, recognizing his lasting contributions to Quarter Horse racing and the racing community he loved so dearly.
