She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Cowell and Helen Cowell (Walker); her granddaughter Paige Howke; her siblings, Dale Cowell and Jean Snively; and her nephews, Mike Snively and Bryon Cowell.
She is survived by: her husband Don of Garner; her children, Kevin Stubbs (Karla) of Oklahoma, Kirk Stubbs (Tina) of Davenport, Diana Hansen (Bart) of Hampton and Brenda Howke (Steve) of Kalispell, Montana; her grandchildren, Eric Hansen (Jaime), Blake Hansen (Morgan), Sarah Morrison (Joel), Ben Hansen (Emily), Haley Rasmussen (David), Alisha Shudy (Steve), Ashley Hendricks (Zach), Emily Howke (Jonah), Shelby Howke, Brady Howke and Jacob Hicks (Taylor); her brother Tom Cowell (Barb); and her siblings-in-law, Jim Snively, Judy Cowell and Mary Kay Bowden (Del). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
