Cory J. Maurer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cory J. Maurer of Garner, Iowa, who passed away on May 9, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Cory shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Cory farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Maurer and Virginia Maurer; and his brothers, Jeffrey and Larry. He is survived by: his sisters, Kim Clune (Ken) and Amy Bostrom (Steve); his sister-in-law Chris Maurer; and the mother of his children Linda Casey (Jim) of Spencer, Iowa.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Cory's name may be made to St. Croix Hospice.
