He was predeceased by: his parents, Lincoln Neuberger and Irene Neuberger (Graves); his daughter Melissa Mayland; and his pets, Ginger and Maggie.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Larson; his daughters, Kristin Neuberger (Jamar Hardy) of Brooklyn Park, MN and Erin Luders (Nick) of Fort Lauderdale, FL; his son-in-law Bill Mayland; his grandchildren, Gillian, Samara, Atticus, Hendrix, Jax and Robert; his great grandchild Roman; his brothers, Ron, Marlyn and Brent Neuberger (Jackie); and his sister-in-law Marcia Loux (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In 2014, he was recognized as the American Association of Swine Veterinarians' "Technical Services Veterinarian of the Year," and in 2018, he was honored by his alma mater for his contributions to the enhancement of the College of Veterinary Medicine.
