He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Wilson and Dorothy Wilson (Hanson); his brother-in-law Bill Gehrke; and his sibling's children, Ann and Dan Wilson.

He is survived by: his siblings, Garry Wilson (Mary) and Colleen Gehrke; and his siblings' children, JoAnn Kibbee (Richard), Monte Gehrke (Mary), Wendy Harms (Dean) and Tony Wilson (Nanette).
