It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harlan D. Johnson of Garner, Iowa, born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Leo Johnson and Edith Johnson (Rood); his brothers, Edward, Robert and James; his son David; his wife Audrey Hanawalt; and his son-in-law Tom Stump.

He is survived by : his children, Janet Johnson of Clear Lake, Nancy Stump of Lee's Summit, MO and Scott Johnson (Susan) of Thornton, CO; his grandchildren, Jennifer Pierce, Erin Wright, Leah Bush, Lindsay Vialle and Ben Johnson; his great grandchildren, Gage, Chase, Isaac, Madisyn, David, Nya, Jude, Clarice, Malaki, Jack, Harper and Charles; and also, LaVina, Eleanor and Marjorie.
