She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Engstler and Rose Engstler (Dankbar); her husband Homer Van Oort; her son Joe Van Oort; her daughters-in-law, Sheri Van Oort and Leanne Van Oort; her grandson Nick Pinneke; her sons-in-law, Mike Pinneke and Mike Fuller; and her siblings, Charlene East, Duane Engstler (MaryLou) and Ron Engstler.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Fuller of Marion, Rhonda Krause (Ken) of Marion, Rich Van Oort (Roxanna) of Green Valley, AZ, Mike Van Oort and Mary Fisk (Jim) of Garner; her brother Russell Engstler (Monita) of Garner; and her sister-in-law LaVonne Hanson of Kansas City, MO. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to St. Boniface Catholic Church, Garner Fire Department, Garner Volunteer Ambulance Service or the Garner Library.
