He was predeceased by : his parents, Corwin Miner and Marie "Mae" Miner (Fitzgerald); his wife Rose Mary; his son Mark; his brother-in-law Dick Kuhl; and his nephew Doug Ness.

He is survived by : his children, David Miner (Connie) and Mary Sheeley; his grandchildren, Alex Miner, Lindsey Miner (Tyler Fischels), Nathan Sheeley (Randi Wright) and Dillon Sheeley; and his siblings, Carol Kuhl, Don Miner (Louise) and Dale Miner (Mary Lou).
