It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Winders of Garwin, Iowa, who passed away on May 3, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carson Winders and Lenora Winders (Shank); and his siblings, Trudie Haege and Terry Winders. He is survived by: his significant other Sharon Parks; his children, Jill Webb (Brad) of Robins, IA, Joel Winders (Shanann) of Crossroads, TX and Jamison Winders (Michelle) of Iowa City, IA; his grandchildren, Abby Webb, Brendan Webb, Gavin Winders (Kristin), Braeden Winders, Spencer Winders and Etta Winders; his close friend Sharon Parks; his brother Dennis Barnes (Cathy) of Gladbrook, IA; his nephew Gabe Winders; his great-nephew Terry Winders; and his sister-in-law Shirley Winders of Garwin, IA.
