He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Mike Konicek (LeAnn), RaeLyn Heinrichs (Jack) and Brad Konicek (Pam); his grandchildren, Nick Stein (Jess), Amanda Richmond (Mark), Luke Konicek, Lindsey Bloomquist (Nathan), Tony Heinrichs (Kacy), Shelby Heinrichs (Bret), Alex Heinrichs, Melinda Willer (Joel), Renae Willer, Britnee Oetker (Mark) and Haylee Konicek; his sister Colleen Steveson (Richard); and his sisters-in-law, Jan Konicek and Sharry (Jeff).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Henry Catholic Church - St. Francis of Assisi Parish (211 W Olive St, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
