He was predeceased by: his parents, Christe Hillers and Lenore Hillers (King); his former wife Judy Hillers; his son Nicholas Hillers; his siblings, Johnny Hillers and Pat Dargantes (Del); and his niece Julie Hillers.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Kwapiszeski of Harlan; his children, Irv Jones (Kate) of Harlan and Kristi Hillers of Lincoln, NE; his grandchildren, Josh, Nick, Malachi and Caelan; his daughter Kerri Peterson (Andy) of St. Joseph, MO; his grandchildren, David (Mo), Micah (Austin), Tyler (Brooke), Angie, Makenzie (Jordan) and Lily; his child SunHee Hillers of Council Bluffs; his grandson Alex (Jaycie); his child Kim Hillers (Chuck Powell) of Seoul; his stepdaughter Sheri Kwapiszeski of Charlotte, NC; his stepgrandsons, Justin and Jason Sparks; his stepson Scott Kwapiszeski (Sara Poepsel) of Harlan; and his brother Joe Hillers (Val) of Coupeville, WA. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Memorials may be directed to the family to be distributed to organizations meaningful to Bert.
