She was predeceased by: her parents, Fritz Briesen and Margaret Van Briesen; and her sister Gloria Hearitige (Byrl). She is survived by: her husband Byron Schrick; her daughters, Billi Duray (Mike) of Dallas, Jodi Heflin (Clyde) of Nashville and Neila Schrick-Aubuchon of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Anne Duray, Alec Duray, Tess Aubuchon and Ella Aubuchon; and her stepgrandchildren, Marissa Brinkman (Josh), Elijah Aubuchon (Julie), Charity Price (Jared) and Heather Schmidtlein (Leith).

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church (206 E Indiana Ave, George, IA 51237). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
