She was predeceased by: her parents, George C. and Lulu Kracht (Tigges); her caregiver Bruce; and her husband Bruce Edward Saunders of John's Church. She is survived by: her children, Alan Saunders (Rhonda) of Peterson, Gloria Goettsch (Lyle) of Peterson, Jon Saunders (Lenore) of Marion, SD, Kevin Saunders (Laurie) of Peterson and Dawn Anliker (Jeff) of Manson; and her sister-in-law Nancy Wright of Laguna Niguel, CA. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Congregational Church (210 Pine, Peterson, IA 51047). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at the Oakland Cemetery.
