She was predeceased by: her parents, George Helmich and Marjorie Helmich (Strohman); her husband Joe Burt; and her siblings, Ileen, Arnold "Pete", Marvin, Kenny, David and James "Jimmy".
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Hanson (Paul) of Wahoo and Scott Burt (Tammy) of Armstrong, Iowa; her grandchildren, Alison Spath, Amanda Dorman, Amy Walders, Joe Burt, Sarah Diekmann, Ryan Hanson and Leah Hammond; her great grandchildren, Hunter Walders, Ethan Leach, Landon Burt, Quentin Leach, Gavin Burt, Braden Diekmann, Addison Diekmann, Rhody Burt, Kennedy Burt, Summer Hanson, Elliot Hanson, Conley Bonnicksen, Charlie Spath, Emma Spath, Elijah Hammond, Kennedy Hanson, Caleb Hammond, Abigail Hammond and Benjamin Hammond; her great great grandchild Gunner Burt; and her sister Delores Lappegard.
Lola was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and served as a treasurer of the Memorial Fund for years.
