He is survived by: his wife Vicki Groen; his children, Melissa Storm (Derek) of George, IA and Brady Riemersma of George, IA; his grandchildren, Cole (Jackie), Mya, Viktoria, Addyson and Ryker; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Maisyn and Vivian; his sister Carol Krull (Byron) of George, IA; his mother-in-law Judy Groen; and his in-laws, Vonda Heronemus (Tennus) and Jerry Groen (Marcella).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to George Fire Department and/or the George Recreational Trail.
