She was predeceased by: her parents, George Munro and Vera Munro (Saville); and her husband Lanny Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Violet Walford (Jack) of Red Oak, IA, Todd Mullen (Diane) of Corning, IA and Lynn Nelson of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Meghan Shipley (Andre) of Red Oak, IA and Kody Reynolds of Des Moines, IA; her great grandchildren, Bibiana Reynolds and Ava Belle Shipley; and her nephew Robert Neligh (Bev) of Woodbine, IA. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
