He is survived by: his mother Carolee Cuperus (Starr) of George, IA; his wife Melanie Lynn Cuperus of George, IA; his children, Evan Cuperus (Brittany Axsom) of Rock Rapids, IA, Ashley De Groot (Frank Bittner) of Rock Valley, IA, Amy De Groot of Hull, IA and Alyssa Harms (Brian) of Hull, IA; his grandchildren, Brooklynn Dailey, Bryson, Khloe Noah, Parker Cuperus and Haddie Harms; his siblings, Scott Cuperus of George, IA and Shellee Maxwell of Gretna, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Kent Wissink of Sioux Falls, SD and Sandy Wissink of Rock Rapids, IA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jurrens Funeral Home of George (300 E Dakota Ave, George, IA 51237). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
