He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Doc" Day and Doris Ridenour Day; his former wife Judy Day (Muhleman); and his siblings, Megan Blazer and Darryl Day.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Day; his sons, Jerry (Alise Day), Tim (Sarah Day), Pete (Kristin Day) and ArkansasHis; his grandchildren, Sam (Kate Day), Silas Day, Nate (Cynthia Day), Alex Day, Walker (Shelby Day), Nick Day, Hailey Day and Aaron Day; and his great grandchildren, Kesh Day, Ori Day, Aidyn Stewart, Nick Autry, Lucas Autry, Jadon Autry, Whittaker Day, Delaney Day, Harper DayA and Allen.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the Prairie Creek Grand Shelter (9300 Prairie Creek Campsite Rd, Rogers, AR 72756).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Community Bible Church Missions Fund, 1400 N. Cedar St., Abilene, KS 67410.
