Faye Arends Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Faye Arends of Gilbert, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Vespested and Florence Vespested (Henderson); her husband Rodney Arends; and her siblings-in-law, Rodger Arends, Clinton Arends, Earl Henderson, Robert Peter and Lila Arends.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Klingbeil (Wayde) of Gilbert; her grandchildren, Tyler Klingbeil (Brooke) and Katie Boothe (Mack) of Gilbert; her great grandchildren, Nolan Klingbeil, Olivia Boothe and Kaden Boothe; her sister Miriam Peter of Stanhope; and her sisters-in-law, Martha Ann Arends of Story City and Cleo Dell Henderson of Fort Dodge.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gilbert Lutheran Church (135 School St, Gilbert, IA 50105). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
