She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Farris and Avis Farris; her husband Donald Burkholder; her siblings, Dorothy Thee, Robert Farris, Daisy Polley, Jean Eudaley and Dessie Rottinghaus; her children-in-law, Mari Burkholder and Tim Hippen; and her stepson Donald Akers.
She is survived by: her children, Carl Burkholder (Debbie) of Clyde, TX, Dawna Schmit (Scott) of Gilbertville, JoLyn Young (Jeff) of Parkersburg, Terry DeGroote (LaRee) of Parkersburg and Christine Eiten (Steve) of Parkersburg; her grandchildren, Chantry Noel (TJ) of West Branch, Caleb Burkholder (Cassie) of Oxford, Cody Burkholder (Ashley) of Dayton, Kenzie Burkholder (Nick) of Janesville, Kayhil Schmit of Gilbertville, Dakota Burkholder of Allison, Jaeda Young of Parkersburg, Justine Perryman (Micah) of Hawaii, Jordan Young (April) of Apple Valley, MN, Micah Burkholder of Waterloo, Stacie Loveless (Dan) of Washburn, Christopher Akers of Waterloo, Amy Kittrell (Chris) of Waterloo, Canon Keller (Cal) of Parkersburg and Karson DeGroote of Des Moines; Joe DeGroote Jr. of Parkersburg and Clint Burkholder of Allison. She is also survived by many Great Grandchildren.
