With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marilyn K. Talbert of Gilman, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marilyn left this world on July 26, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gifford Meling and Mae Meling; and her husband Lloyd Talbert. She is survived by: her children, Steve Talbert (Jeanette), Kathy Witt and Susan Glover (Les); her grandchildren, Tarica Wilkins (Allen), Christopher Talbert (Megan), Chris Glover (Chelsea) and Ben Glover (Gabi); and her great grandchildren, Bentley, Avery, Conner, Owen, Olive, Murphy, Shiloh and Mara.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Transformation Nazarene Church (Eastside Church of the Nazarene) (1451 E 25th St, Des Moines, IA 50317). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Gideons International in memory of Marilyn.
