With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray E. Harris of Gilmore City, Iowa, who passed away on February 28, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Clara Harris (Shaw); his siblings, Dean Harris (Glenda), Caroline Ammerman (Kenny) and Jane Morris (Lindsey); and his nephew Michael Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Harris of Gilmore City; his daughters, Lesa Hiebert (Dave) and Tammy Dawson (Blaine); and his grandchildren, Scott Loving, Jon Weber, Cassy George, Cordairo Hansen and Ciera Williams. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
