She is survived by: her close friend Karen Day; her children, Dale Benjamin (Sheri) of Owatonna, MN, Patti Cirks (Dave) of Gilmore City, Michelle Wauters (Don) of Altoona, Michael Benjamin (Dawn) of Pocahontas, Nancy Nielsen (Paul) of Gilmore City and Douglas Benjamin (Barb) of Spirit Lake; her grandchildren, Brian Benjamin (Melanie), Barry Benjamin, Ryan Cirks, Jeff Cirks, Mark Cirks (Stacy), Sheri Wauters, Janielle Smith, Krystal Wauters, Chris Benjamin, Danielle Bonnstetter, Mitch Nielsen (Laurie), Megan Foth (Greg), Brianne Benjamin and Kayla Benjamin (Chad Plaehn); her great grandchildren, Ethan, Allison, Jaelynn, Cyler, Sophie, Mady, Joselin, Ryah, Avery, Whitney, Mila, Taytem, Baylee, Dexter, Carter, Lincoln, Ryker, Jenna, Tanna, Daina, Lakelyn and Emerick; and her brother Donald Day (Karen) of Gilmore City.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (202 S Gilmore St, Gilmore City, IA 50541). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
