He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Edward and Eunice Jane Reese (Wilson); his brother Joseph Reese; and his great grandchild Hayden Reese. He is survived by: his wife Susan Boucher; his children, Brian Reese (Shannon) of Nevada, Krystal Reese of Gladbrook, Amy Reimer (Linus) of Germany and Lisa Cox of Marshalltown; his grandchildren, Ali Reese, Justine Reese, Aiden Reese, Tyler Reese, Samantha Reese, Trenton Geiken, Elisabeth Bueghly, Mistry Carmer, Charydin Carmer and Damien Carmer; his great grandchildren, Skylar, Braxton, Kingston, Ryker, Elle Reese, Emerson, Elias, Callen, Emmett and Henry; and his siblings, Edward Reese of Lamoille, IA, Jeff Reese (Sherry) of Marshalltown and Jane Burgstahler (Charles) of Minnesota. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation.
