He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ray and Eugenia Louise Fleming (Zorn); his brother Les Fleming; and his brother-in-law Bob Michels. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his children, Todd Fleming (Heidi Young) of Eldora, Heather Wagner (Brad) of Gladbrook, Jody Claussen (Mike) of Washburn, Mandi Beeghly (Brian Jack) of Tama and Sean Fleming of Marshalltown; and his siblings, Judy Michels of Green Mountain and Bill Fleming (Annette) of State Center. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
