He is survived by: his parents, David Lester and Marcia Larraine Strand (Williams) of Glenwood, Iowa; his sisters, Marti Strand (Christopher Ferretti) of Glenwood and Courtney Strand (Scott Morihata) of Santa Ana, California; and his nieces and nephews, Malin and August. He is also survived by friends and caregivers.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 19th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peterson Mortuary (212 S Locust St, Glenwood, IA 51534).
