He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Piatt and Lenora Piatt (Stacy). He is survived by: his wife Mary Piatt; his daughter Delilah "Dee" McIntyre (Kenny) of Glenwood, Iowa; his grandchildren, Amanda McIntyre, Daniel McIntyre (Tracy), Aubrey Fritz (Noah), Dillon McIntyre, Samuel McIntyre and Abby McIntyre; and his great grandchild Maren McIntyre. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Peterson Mortuary, Inc. (212 S Locust St, Glenwood, IA 51534).
